At clickspeedtestonline.com, accessible from clicking speeds, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by us and how we use it.

Log Files

We follow a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks.

These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Cookies and Analytics

The click speed test itself sets no cookies and sends nothing anywhere. It runs entirely in your browser, and you can use every page on this site without accepting anything.

We do use one optional analytics tool, Microsoft Clarity, to see which pages people use and where the site is confusing. Clarity records page interactions and sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk to recognise a returning browser. Microsoft acts as our processor for this and may transfer data outside your country; their handling is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Clarity is off by default. It does not load, and sets no cookies, unless you choose “Accept” on the consent notice. The legal basis is your consent, and it is the only thing we ask consent for.

Your answer — accept or decline — is remembered in your browser's local storage for 12 months so that you are not asked again on every page. Declining is remembered exactly as long as accepting. To change your mind at any time, use the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of any page; withdrawing takes one click and also clears the Clarity cookies already on your device. Clearing your browser storage resets the choice, and you will be asked once more.

Your Rights

If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete the data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
